Dine Local to Win Contest - Complete Rules & Regulations

Original Fare Enterprises Dine Local to Win Contest

A. Description of the Contest:

1. Obtain a Dine Local Card for the Dine Local to Win Contest (the “Contest”) (a) at any of the participating restaurant,
2. No purchase is necessary to obtain a Dine Local Card.
3. During the Contest period (referred to below) Participating Contest Restaurants will place an official Contest stamp in a presented Dine Local Card. A minimum purchase may be required for the Participating Contest Restaurant to place a stamp in the Card (as referred to below).
4. Limit of one stamp from each location per Dine Local Card. Stamped Passports must be mailed in (to the address provided below) to be eligible to win.
5. Participating Original Fare members are Edmonton and area members online. Check the Restaurant Directory page for a listing of Edmonton and area members.
6. The Contest is operated by Original Fare Enterprises ("OFE")
7. A printed copy of these Rules may be obtained by visiting www.originalfare.com and clicking on Dine Local to Win
8. By participating in the Contest, each person unconditionally accepts and agrees:
(a) to comply with these Rules and Regulations (the “Rules”);
(b) that the decisions of Original Fare Enterprises shall be final and binding with respect to all aspects of the Contest; and
(c) that Original Fare Enterprises will not be held responsible for any errors or negligence that may arise in connection with the Contest.
9. These Rules are subject to change at the discretion of Original Fare Enterprises without notice. Changes will be posted only at www.originalfare.com.

B. Eligibility:

1. The Contest is open to all residents of Alberta.
2. No purchase is necessary: entrants must hand print the date, their name, address, city, province and postal code, day and evening numbers and a 500 word essay on "The importance of dining at a local independent restaurant and it's impact on the local economy" and send to: Original Fare 5032 129 Ave, Edmonton Alberta T5A 4N3
3. To participate in the Contest, persons must be 18 years of age or older as of the Contest Starting Date (as defined below).
4. Excluded from the Contest are persons who, after the Contest Starting Date (as defined below) are:
(a) Directors, officers, employees, agents, independent contractors and representatives of Original Fare Enterprises and all Contest Participating Restaurants;
(b) Advertising and promotional agencies, suppliers of products, materials or services related to the Contest; or
(c) Siblings, parents, step-parents, grandparents, children, spouses, or anyone residing in the same household with any of the above.
5. The Dine Local to Win card is non-transferrable and, this includes the transfer of a card by an ineligible person to an eligible person.
6. In these Rules, a person who is eligible to enter the Contest is called an “Entrant”.

C. Contest Open and Close Dates:

1. The Contest will commence May 1, 2010 at 12:01 a.m. (MST) (the “Contest Starting Date”) and will conclude on August 31, 2010 at 11:59 p.m. (MST) (the “Contest Closing Date”).
2. Entrants must mail (postage prepaid) the stamped Dine Local Card to Original Fare Enterprises, 5032 129 Ave, Edmonton Alberta T5A 4N3 by September 15, 2010.
3. All Dine Local cards received after the Eligibility Date shall be deemed VOID and will be ineligible for entry in to the Contest.

D. How to Enter:

1. To enter the Contest, Entrants collect official stamps from participating Restaurant Partners at anytime between the Contest Starting Date and the Contest Closing Date.

E. How to Win:

1. All Cards mailed to Original Fare Enterprises are final and binding and are subject to verification.
2. Original Fare Enterprises will not accept Cards by phone, fax, or any other method not specifically stated within these Rules.
3. One Dine Local Card per entrant.
4. Any Dine Local Card mailed to Original Fare Enterprises will be declared invalid if they are illegible, incomplete, forged, falsified, altered, or tampered with in any way.
5. Proof of mailing the Dine Local Card of any kind does not constitute proof of delivery.
6. All eligible Dine Local Cards will be entered into a draw. From those eligible Cards, one will be randomly selected by Original Fare Enterprises and declared the winner.
7. Original Fare Enterprises will conduct the draw on September 15, 2010 (the “Draw Date”)
8. One gift certificate with a value of $250 will be given away upon contest completion.
9. Odds of winning depend on number of entries received

F. How to Claim the Prize:

1. The Winner will be contacted by telephone and/or email after September 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. (MST). Original Fare Enterprises will mail the Gift Card to the address chosen by the winner.
2. Upon notification, the Winner shall:
(a) assist Original Fare Enterprises in confirming compliance with these Rules, including verification that the Winner is at least 18 years of age or older;
(b) correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical, electronic or otherwise;
(c) sign a standard form release, releasing Original Fare Enterprises and all of its divisions, and the participating restaurants, and any other person or entity associated in any way with the Contest and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, stakeholders, employees, agents from any and all liabilities arising in connection with the Contest, including, without limitation, liability arising from the acceptance of the prize as awarded; and
(d) consents to the use of their name, city and province of residence, photograph, voice and/or image without compensation, for any publicity purposes, commercial or otherwise, in all media, including internet, used by Original Fare Enterprises, and the contest sponsors and partners and their respective advertising, marketing and promotional agencies.

G. The Prize:

1. The Contest prize is:
A $250 Gift Certificate from Original Fare, valid at participating Original Fare restaurants.

H. General Terms and Conditions applicable to the Contest:

1. Passports are non-transferrable.
2. All Passports become the property of Original Fare Enterprises.
3. Personal information collected in connection with the Contest will be used for contest purposes only.
4. Original Fare Enterprises may amend or cancel the Contest if, in the sole discretion of OFE, anything occurs which will or could hinder or prevent the fair conduct of the Contest, which corrupts the Contest, or which will or could result in the awarding of a greater number of prizes than those which these Rules contemplate.
