This is not easy, logistically troubling and often cost-prohibitive. But we've made a good start. Some of our produce, when in season, comes from local farms. We have recently struck up a relationship with Sherwood Meats, a supplier of local produce that is antibiotic-free and hormone-free. They are also supplying free-range locally farmed eggs. These things are important to us and we hope in the long term to offer even more local foods.
